Our run club meets Monday’s at 7pm from The Bay Running Shop, this is suitable for anybody who can comfortably run 5km. We have runners who have just graduated from our C25K all the way up to 3 hour marathon runners and 100 mile ultra runners.
Our sessions are based around improving your technique, strength, endurance and speed. We run intervals, hills, tempos and much more.
A typical session could be a group easy run down to the seafront followed by a dynamic stretch, some strides and then into a pyramid sessions of 2,3,4,5,4,3,2 minute runs with a recovery between always followed by a cool down and stretch.
We have a secret Facebook group for Bay Runners where we arrange additional sessions road and trail, nutrition, training, injuries, recovery and much more.
Bay Run Club sessions are just £2.00 a session and run year round.
