Our run club for beginners plan starts on Wednesday 3rd of January and will be like no other.


This will start with a 1 hour session at the shop and will include

  • Registration.
  • An Overview of the next 9 weeks.
  • Running and nutrition tips from what to wear to what to eat.
  • Added to our secret Facebook group where we will share nutrition and training tips.
  • Set up on the app we will be using to track our runs.
  • Finishing with a Q&A session

Our first official runs will begin on the 8th at 6pm from Bay Running Shop.

The plan is an easy to follow walk / jog leading up to running 5km continuously. You will be fully supported by team at The Bay Running Shop.

You will need to Walk/Jog a further 2 x a week. You can do this on your own or with the group which we will arrange.

Included, you will have access to  nutrition, stretching and recovery tips and how to run efficiently workshops during the course of the 9 weeks.

The nine-week programme is suitable for beginners and those who are returning to running after a lengthy break.

Group size is limited and sessions can only be attended if you have pre-registered.

We have changing facilities, and a safe place to leave valuables for run club members.

* There is a £10 charge for the whole 9 weeks to secure your place. Included in this is a HI-Viz vest and hand held water bottle. Being a run club member you also get 10% off all purchases in store.
